Grace is preached as Law

The sincere attempt by many to preach Grace to the exclusion of everything and everyone is propagated as Law in the same manner they (preachers) are adamant “we are not under the old Law”. The intention is good, however although based in scripture and is Amazing Grace, it at times gets out of balance with scripture and thus can be dangerous because of imbalance of scripture.

Supposedly we lived under old Law by our own efforts and everything after the cross is Grace apart from our efforts or right living while battling against sin, solely based on Jesus and His works alone. Now I agree He did it all, He paid the price, our righteousness or actions are like filthy rags. Also, to say “after the cross” man has no part in the salvation process of enduring to the end just doesn’t make sense, maybe it is spiritual that only a few can know which I doubt, but if man has no more role in salvation than to receive the free gift, many scriptures in the Bible were spoken in vain by Biblical writers.

I would say if man has no role, then 1 Peter, 2 Peter, James, Jude and last, but not least, Revelations would have many misstatements. The Book of Revelation Chapters 1 thru 3 spoken to John 90 A.D. after the cross event, by revelation of Jesus Christ Himself, which is after the cross event was specially addressing the current church age, which is still now current, about repentance, and many other statements of warning. It is not my aim to ever take away from the Amazing Grace of God to man, we all can receive the gift nor to take away from His Love which is always available, but to stay balanced in our approach to God and His free gift and the lives we lead. "Salvation" the All-Inclusive Gospel Word

Salvation is the great and all-inclusive word of the gospel, gathering into itself all the redemptive acts and processes such as those expressed in the doctrines of salvation listed below. One can see by these words and by the Scriptures below that satiation teaches full deliverance from dangers, troubles, sin, disease, and poverty. Salvation takes in deliverance from every phase of sin, including inbred sin, or the old man - the devil, as we shall see in these two lessons, thirty-three and thirty-four. It would not be a deliverance from all sin if one were still bound by sin and Satan in any form. The following is a summary of the different words which express the different phases of salvation:

Not one of the phases of salvation listed above should be understood as a separate work from the salvation of which it is a part. One could not possibly receive salvation and not have every one of the above blessings started in him that has to do with sin. They all have an initial and instantaneous as well as a progressive aspect until they are completed in the eternal future.

Although salvation and all its various phases that deal with sin are received in the initial stages by faith when one truly repents and believes the gospel, the different phases continue in operation in the believer from the time of salvation until he receives and enters into the final stage of salvation at the rapture and resurrection (1 Pet. 1:5-9, 13; Rom.13:11; Heb. 1:14; Phil. 3:20, 21; 1 Thess. 4:13-17; 5:23; 1 Cor. 15:51-58; 1 John

3:1-3). Salvation, in the general sense of the word, includes even the redemption of all creation at the end of the Millennium (Rom.8:17-25; Heb. 1:10-12; 12:25-28; 2 Pet. 3:10-13; Rev. 21, 22; Isa.66:22-24). If

salvation takes in all creation affected by the fall, then it is easy to see how it takes in every phase of deliverance for man in the process of redemption from its beginning to its completion.
