Why the world acts as it does, think about it.
Think about this, from the time of our birth into this world, we humans have a natural tendency to gravitate toward carnal things and appetites. It is so easy because we are flesh; the mind is the battlefield of truth and evil, flesh and Spirit.
Unfortunately, because of Adams sin, we to experience the war of flesh and Spirit, something that was not supposed to exist except “Sin” damage and the enemy of our souls Lucifer/Satan always twist things, distorts things, always plays in the minds of those who do not believe. People at times say, “there is no absolute truth,” “This Christianity thing just can’t be real,” “Is there really good and evil?” “My mind is just playing tricks with me”, Maybe I can just ignore the tugs of truth and error and live my fleshy life and it won’t matter.”
The Bible is consistent in revealing God, who He is, and His Absolute Goodness, and reaching out to us to clear the fog of our minds, settle facts from fiction, and settle truth and evil/error. Look at the media, Hollywood, Music world, etc. etc., they all act as if there is a standard, an absolute truth, a way to live life, basically live as you want “there is no God” many say, so which person’s truth sets the bench mark, the plumb line? Humans didn’t set the rules, Republicans or Democrats, lawyers didn’t, yet we act as though they/we did.
Our standard for living is always graded on a curve because we all have perceived a truth, a fleshy one which can be wrong and can be totally false which is most of the time, humans didn’t establish good and evil boundaries, humans prove to be hypocritical and at best measuring their life and conduct of life thru humans lens. Let’s just be frank about it, we have a sin problem but there is a remedy for that sin.
Men are pros at condemning, judging, trying to set an earthly standard, but they don’t even know what and why a standard should exist. We mouth buzz words at each other as if they are “got you” phrases to target human weaknesses and sins yet we continue in the world to act as if we all have a good set of rules or good standards. Jesus was asked by Pilate “What is truth?’ Jesus stated about himself, He is the way, the truth, and the Life, NO ONE will come to the Father except thru Him. He laid the foundation that no other person can lay. He knew the Father from the beginning and came to reveal Him to Us. Goodness, Mercy, Graciousness, Humility, and the lists goes on and only exist because there was and is a source to the existence of truth and error.
Man didn’t set the standard in life nor eternity, God did!! All flesh wrestle in mind and body looking for answers to truth, existence. STOP!! TURN TO GOD OF HEAVEN THRU CHRIST JESUS. Snap out of unbelief or fiction, believe God’s Word of who HE is, Who He Says He is, focus on What He likes and What He doesn’t like and take to heart your aim to open your being to Him, then life will take on a new meaning and Heavens will open up to you.
